Client accounts
- Creating client accounts
  To add video units and assign an administrator username to one or more Stratocast™ accounts, you must first create a client account.
- Modifying client accounts
  After a client account has been created and is active, you can modify the account information, as well as edit or replace the client administrator.
- Replacing the client administrator
  Once a client account is active, you can replace the current client administrator with another user, regardless of their user level or whether they have activated their Stratocast™ account.
- Searching for client accounts
  If the list of client accounts is long and it is difficult to find a particular account, you can search for the account name to find what you are looking for quickly.
- Deleting client accounts
  If a client account is no longer required, you can delete the account so that it is permanently removed from the list of client accounts.
- Client account states
  Once a client account has been added, you can see its real-time status in the Client accounts page.
- Creating sites for client accounts
  To help clients that have multiple sites better manage their accounts, you can create an account for each of their sites and assign the same client administrator username to oversee all sites.
- Accessing your client's Stratocast™ portal
  To view your client's cameras, watch playback video, or export and download video, you can access your client's Stratocast™ portal through your own portal.

  Your client's subscription information provides an overview of important dates and terms about your client's account. Even after your client account has been created, you can make changes to your client's subscription information.

  If you want to change your client's subscription term for billing purposes, or you made a mistake when creating your client account, you can modify your client's subscription even if the subscription has yet to start.

  As a client administrator, you can add users to one or more of the accounts that you manage, so that they can view your cameras and assist you in monitoring your premises.

  After client users have been added to your integrator account, you can modify their information even if they have not yet activated their Stratocast™ account.
- Searching for client users
  If the list of client users is long and it is difficult to find a particular one, you can search for the user by name to find what you are looking for quickly.
- Deleting client users
  If a client user is no longer required, you can delete them so that they are permanently removed from your account.
- Suspending client accounts
  If you have clients who violate their service agreements, or pay their invoices inconsistently, you can suspend their accounts. You can still access their Stratocast™ portals, provided that they have not restricted access.
- Restoring suspended client accounts
  If you have client accounts that have been suspended, you can restore the accounts at any time so that your clients can access their Stratocast™ portals again.
- About push notifications
  A push notification is the delivery of information or a message from a software application to a mobile device, without a specific request from the client. Push notifications can notify an end user about motion detected events on their phone or mobile device.
- Configuring push notifications
  To receive notifications about your cameras on your phone or mobile device, you must configure the push notification settings in your Stratocast™ mobile app.

Switching between Stratocast™ accounts

If your username is registered to multiple Stratocast™ accounts, you can easily access each of these accounts from a single location within your Stratocast™ portal.

What you should know

The same username can be registered to multiple Stratocast™ accounts and assigned to different user levels. For example, with a single username, a user can be an integrator user for one Stratocast™ account and a client administrator for another account.

Procedure

Log on to your Stratocast™ portal.
The account that you accessed before last logging off is displayed. If that account is no longer available (for example, it has been suspended, deleted, or access is restricted), the account you had accessed previous to that one is displayed.
At the top of the page, click your name, and then click Switch accounts from the drop-down menu. If your username is only registered to one account, the Switch accounts button is not available.
The Switch accounts dialog box opens, and a list of all accessible Stratocast™ accounts is displayed. The account site that you are currently logged on to is indicated in the Previous logon column.
Note: If you have been restricted access to one or more of your accounts, is displayed next to each account.
If there are too many entries, click to filter the list by the type of Stratocast™ account. You can also sort the list by clicking on the column heading you want to sort by.
Click for the account you want to switch to.

The Stratocast™ account opens on the page that is equivalent to the page in the previous account. For example, if you were monitoring your premises on the View page for Store Site A, and you switch to Store Site B, you will land on the View page for Store Site B.

Example

As shown in the following image, the integrator administrator for ACME Security Site 2 is also the client administrator for the three different store sites that are listed, and an integrator user for ACME Security Site 1. To monitor the premises of Store Site A, the integrator administrator switches to this account, without having to log off from the current account and log on to Store Site A.
