Searching for system events

2016-08-25Last updated

If the list of system events is long and it is difficult to find a particular one, you can search for system events by client name or device name.

Procedure

  1. If your username is registered to multiple Stratocast™ accounts, select an account.
  2. From the homepage, do one of the following:
    • Click Health.
    • In the Health dashboard pane, click See all system events.

The Health monitoring page opens. The Health monitoring page is automatically refreshed every two minutes.

  3. In the Search box, enter the name, or one or more sequential letters within the name, of the client account that the system event is generated from.
The system events that correspond to your search criteria appear. If the search text that you enter is contained within both the client name and the source name, the system events are sorted by client name first.
Note: To display the complete list of system events again, clear the Search box and press Enter on your keyboard.

Example

You have a long list of system events and you are searching for those associated to client account ACME Security Site 1. If you are unsure of its spelling, you can type A C M and press Enter. All system events that are associated to client accounts containing the letter sequence A C M are displayed.
